This dreadful sea is border'd with ruins of burnt buildings; and, in the midst of it's rolling waves, across it's frightful gulph, appears the insernal palace of Pluto. FIRST ENTRY. The Furies rejoice at the rage they have kindled in the. breast of the fairest of the Deities. SECOND ENTRY. The Imps, persorming some dangerous seats of activity, mingle with the Furies, and endeavour to frighten Psyche; but the charms of her beauty cause the Furies and Imps to retire.
